Project Pattrang took its first step in February, 2020. It started with the realisation that there exists a thriving need to address the plight of the patuas who specialize in narrative scroll paintings, the dying art of Pattachitra. The Patuas, with their fine skills and expertise, have the potential to capture the modern urban markets with necessary assistance. Hence, Enactus SXC embarked upon the journey of taking an initiative to extend a guiding pathway, embedded with skillful help and market channelization which thus, ventured into a developed project. The process has been multi-faceted, from ideation and putting up exhibitions, to creating a social media presence. As we turn 2, we extend our gratitude to everyone who has supported this cause by extending their patronage. We wish to move ahead from here with a sense of optimism and goodwill for our beneficiaries, with the aim to perpetually revive this 2000-year-old classic thriving art!
